The Family Card is a residency program for you and all your family members
In Slovakia, a residence permit on the basis of family reunification can be obtained by a spouse who is legally married, children under the age of 18 years and parents aged 65 years and older.

Cost of the program
FAMILY CARD
Payment is made in installments:
- Stage – 50% at the conclusion of the contract for the provision of services.
- Stage – 50% for services related to the registration of residence permit – after the receipt of the ID-card of the residence permit.
The FAMILY MAP program includes:
- Preparation of the package of necessary documents for submission to the Consulate of the Slovak Republic or to the migration police in Slovakia
- Escort to the migration police
- Advisory support at all stages of registration of business residence permits
Additional expenses:
- Consular fees and state fees at the migration police (260 euros)
- Sworn translation of documents into Slovak (90-150 euros).
- Registration of propiska (residence address in Slovakia) in case the applicant has no own or rented accommodation.

Registration of residence permit
Citizens of countries with a visa-free regime can apply for a residence permit directly to the migration police in Slovakia.
All other foreigners are in
Consulate of the Slovak Republic in the country of citizenship or in the country where you have a valid residence permit. The official deadline for processing a residence permit application is 90 days. If you apply at the consulate of the Slovak Republic, you get a national visa “D”, which must be used to enter Slovakia for the subsequent registration of a residence permit.

Fulfillment of requirements
Congratulations! You have obtained a residence permit in one of the most comfortable countries of the European Union. But I would also like to draw your attention to a number of mandatory formalities that must be met after obtaining a residence permit.
Within 30 days after receipt of the ID-card residence permit must obtain health insurance and within 30 days to undergo a special medical commission.

Confirmation of residence
If you have your own or rented housing in Slovakia, the package of documents must be accompanied by an extract from the real estate registry SR or rental agreement. If you do not have such a possibility, our company will help to arrange registration with official confirmation from the owner of the property. The cost of registration of registration is negotiable.

Minimum balance on the account of an individual entrepreneur on the day of issuance of the bank certificate
must be at least 5,000 euros.
Certificate of no criminal record
It is mandatory to provide a certificate of no criminal record with an apostille from the country of citizenship. If the applicant has lived in any other country for more than 6 months per year in the past 3 years, a certificate of no criminal record from that country will also be required.
Confirmation of financial support
As such confirmation it is enough to provide a certificate from the bank about the balance of funds on the personal account of the inviting person (main applicant). The minimum balance on the day such certificate is issued must be at least 12 subsistence minimums, the equivalent of 2,812.80 euros for each adult family member and 1,406.40 for each child under the age of 18.
